Day 01 : Arrive Leh Ladakh

Arrival at Leh airport meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Leh. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel. The remainder of the day will be for rest, to acclimatize. Since you are reaching an altitude of 4000 meters approximately 200 meters in just one hour’s time, you may be excited and would want to explore everything on your very first day. However, it is your body that needs to get acclimatized to such height and climate. We sincerely suggest that you rest on the first day for body acclimatization. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 : Leh – Sham valley – Leh

After breakfast, you drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh – Kargil Highway and start your sightseeing with Hall Of Fame (Museum Constructed by India Army) near Leh this is worth a visit for every Indian You will then proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib at an altitude of 3600 Mtrs about 22 Kms from Leh, which was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Nestled deep in the Himalayas, a drive of another 4 km takes us to the Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. As you move ahead from Magnetic Hills, just before Nimmu Village, there comes a famous Confluence Of Two Rivers, Indus River coming from Tibet (left) and Zanskar River coming from Zanskar Valley (right). Zanskar River is known for its famous Chadar Trek. Later we drive back to Leh. Evening visit to Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03 : Leh to Nubra Via Khardunga la pass

Early morning proceeds to Nubra Valley via the World’s Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass. It is not very often that one gets to drive on a road at an altitude of 18,380 feet.
That is where Khardungla Pass, meaning the ‘Pass of Lower Castle,’ is located on the way from Leh to the Nubra Valley in Ladakh. It is the highest motorable road in the world as signs put up by the Border Roads Organization proudly proclaim. Arrive at Nubra Valley and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can also enjoy a camel ride here (Camel ride on a direct payment basis).Upon arrival in Nubra, we check in at our Camp or Hotel. In the evening we drive to Hunder where you have an opportunity to ride on a Bactrian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snowcapped mountains on the horizon.

Day 04 : Turtuk village; Witness the local culture of Ladakh

Post breakfast, we’ll start our journey further North; the valley starts closing in dramacally as we pass the IAF base at Thoise driving through some fantasc scenery. By aernoon, we’ll reach the picturesque border village of Turtuk which technically falls in Balstan – the Bal region of Pakistan & was annexed by India during the 1971’ war. Spend the rest of the day walking around and interacng with the locals – the whole feel is like being in Pakistan but rest assured the locals are very friendly & patrioc towards India. Get to interact with wonderfully warm & hospitable locals with their cherubic European looks – the kids are adorable; and the vistas when you go on walks in the surrounding region. You can also visit the famous Apricots farms – collect some if you want to. Return to Nubra in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05 : Pangong – Leh via Changla Pass

The morning after breakfast drive back to Leh. En route take a short halt at Changla Pass to enjoy a cup of hot steaming tea. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 06 : Pangong – Leh via Changla Pass

Today is the day for cultural immersion in and around Leh. Sightseeing will include a visit to Thiksey Gompa, one of the most breathtaking monasteries in Ladakh followed by Shey Palace and Druk White Lotus Rancho School. Now we’ll head towards Hemis which hosts one of the most well-known festivals in Ladakh. In the evening, we’ll head to Leh Palace followed by Shanti Stupa – bask in the peace amidst this hilltop Stupa and revel in the panoramic view of the city. The sunset is the perfect backdrop you wished for. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 06 : Pangong – Leh via Changla Pass

Today is the day for cultural immersion in and around Leh. Day 07 : Leh – Airport ( Departure)

Leave on time for Leh airport to board your flight home.
